Dave I just think we are tinkering

Whatever the conflict is, be it between the players themselves or with Millward need solving immediately. That conflict is the key to our fortunes. Nobody can convince me the present Wigan players are giving their all.

Wonder why you got no responses to your latest wind up.............
You are on your own here mate! I watched that game from behind the sticks yesterday, and O'loughlin showed no leadership at all! I did not see him say one word to his team. All he did was stand there with his head low, looking sorry for himself!
A group of Wigan fans were shouting " talk to your team O'loughlin, you are the captain for god's sake!"
More vocal was Danny Orr and Moran who seemed the one's giving the team a talking too!
Don't get me wrong, i like O'loughlin, but this task is beyond him at this stage, and i feel it could destroy him as a player!
In my opinion Wigan need an old head to steady the ship at this stage. My choice would be Fletcher.
Fletcher can hardly make the team and cannot last the 8.

Stick with Lockers.

He probably talks more than you realise, and ranting and raving as a leader is usually people talking for effect and getting little reaction.

Same as Milly on the line , bouncing up and down and gobbing off, is he really working then - no!

He is working when he is making the decisions which effect the outcome of the game in a calm matter of fact method.

You sound like soccer fans and the abused word of passion.

Lockers shows his passion by being the best forward at Wigan on a regular basis and leading by example.

Well there is tinkering and then there is tinkering

Nor me. I just think with Lockers one small way to get them to give a bit more isn't being exploited. That of the vocal captain giving them a roasting under the sticks.

If it woke just one of them up to save a try with a decent tackle it may give us that elusive victory.

 I'm truly peed off with em Dave

I played in a team for 2 years with somebody who I had fallen out with and we never spoke for the whole 2 years. We still both slogged our guts out. I worked for a manager for 5 years who made my life hell, it never stopped me doing my best. Our team have the best job in the world and they have decided to take their ball home and stick 2 fingers up to fans who have proven incredibly loyal in recent seasons. To forego winning because something is not exactly how you would like it to be is beyond my comprehension.
