Love the way everyone just bypassed that message :D
We're obviously not very good fans going to every game, shouting our little lungs out in the pouring rain, snow, wind and foggy conditions. Paying for away matches, petrol/coaches to watch a team we knew were gonna lose.

Gawd, I wish I could be more ancient and loyal.

Yep! I suppose, though, young Jordan would probably agree he's not in the same bracket as Solomona.
Or maybe he is, and nobody's noticed?
I am sure Jordan has no illusions about his abilities or this signing but I couldn't believe the wording of the press release!

Dave
Hang the guy before we even see him. Were in a tight spot at the moment and we need a stronger squad. This guy may not be Solomona. Then again it might make him as a player just judge him on what we see and not what we hear.

After all the fan fare we had for the likes of DV and others we might be better getting a player from a lower league.

Less excpectations.

If he has only been given a contract for this season I would guess he will give 101% on the field which I have not seen much off this season if he wants to stay at Wigan. As a fan I cannot ask for more from any player. Also beggars cannot be choosers. So best of luck to the lad

I posted about our bid for James 10 days ago. I watched him play for Swinton against Leigh where an acquaintance of Basil's told me he had been asked to watch this guy.

He started off the bench (not a good sign!), came on after 20 mins and stayed the whole game. He is a left sided 2nd rower.

I've got to admit the didn't make much of an impression, but the pitch was disgraceful. He did get put through in the clear once, however. He dropped the ball with no-one near him and I joked to my wife that he is certainly Wigan standard!!

I was speaking to their Commercial Manager after the game and he told me they had rejected a bid for him.

Good luck to him. Is he playing on Friday?

He's not in the 18, but that can change (as we've seen with Wellens recently...?).

This from the "Wigan Today" article:

(we know what the clubs are calling us, too!)

GeoffN, do you wish to hazard a guess at our 17 for tomorrow? You're normally there or thereabouts.
