I think you'll find i didn't...

Pretty much all of the Wigan supporters i have spoken to about Millward getting sacked, didn't want him to get sacked. So a few people on here did, so what? Not every single Wigan fan posts on here, only a very small percentage do.

Also, no amount of protesting would get Millward back at the club. It's a protest against Maurice Lindsey.

So would you rather Betts was still in charge, or a coach that had taken us to the bottom of the league (without injuries at the start of the season).
I agree we need stability, but it plainly was not working with IM.
I am sure if Mike Greg hadn't been taken so ill that we wold be hitting the top 6, or was that Mo's fault as well?

NO PROTEST... 2 POINTS ARE MORE IMPORTANT than showing how fans feel. the lads need our support, negative vibes wont help our struggling team. Get behind o'loughlin, hes a new captain, not much experience, if he messes up, cheer him on give him confidence... that way we will be better in the long run. if we lose to st helens on friday, we lose... wigan has NO right to be in the super league, we have the same right as york, batley or UTC.

No. I posted this earlier today, but to recap...

West, Hughes, Monie and Goodway all left before Maurice returned to Wigan.

Endacott didn't fit in with ML, so there's 1.

Raper had already handed in his notice for the end of the season, but was dismissed when it seemed either he'd lost interest or the players no longer wanted to play for him knowing he was on his way. I'll let you have that one as well.

Gregory was ill, as we all know. Very unfortunate, and irrespective of the rights and wrongs of his treatment by the club there's not really any way he could have continued as head coachm even if he had moved to another position. You can't blame Maurice for him getting ill.

Betts was pushed into the position of coach when he wasn't ready, and I clearly remember the vast majority of people wanting him out. ML listened to the fans and obliged. There's 3.

And now Millward. Yet the voting on here suggests nearly half the people voting thought it was right he has gone, and our votes are as relevant (or not) as anyone else asking a random group of fans. But that still only gives you 4 coaches than Maurice has fired, unless I've missed someone along the way.

So the people you asked didn't want him to go, so what? Our vote is no different to the small percentage of people you have spoken to. IM was not universally adored, almost half the people voting on here are happy he's gone although I suspect many of those would also agree with you that it's probably time for Maurice to move on as well.

Please do carry on. Carry on by telling me the last player Mo signed at the top of his game. IMO probably Dallas. Everything after has been overpaid and over the hill, including the much loved Lam.

What's so difficult in signing the players you mentioned (why Betts???) when you have Rugby's biggest cheque book?

Why didn't you mention Ainscough, Moore, Seu Seu? Wy not mention also the removal of Hodgson, Robinson, Briscoe, Johnson, Gilmour, McDermott, etc?

Forget the past!! It's his talents now that should be discussed. He is past it and it is time to go!!

Exactly!

All a protest is going to do is give the media even more chance to talk about "crisis club Wigan" and "fallen giant tearing itself to pieces"

So Fraggle he has only sacked 4 coaches?!? In that case I don't understand the problem, apart from the fact that it is still more than any other chief exec!! He is the top of our tree management wise and the buck should stop with him, but it doesn't. Coaches keep coming and going as do players as we sink lower and lower. The one constant is ML, who has lost that cutting edge he had all those years ago when he was IMO the most innovative thinker in RL. He is past it!! Time to go!!

Anyone with any sense of respect for the clubs name and the reputation built up over the last 100 years ago did. It has been downhill ever since the sacking of Frank Endacott but the last 11 months have been a sheer rock face, now at least we can start again.
