Another alternative, since we're speculating wildly on such things, is that Newton could replace Tickle and/or Hock, as he's more than capable of playing both second row and prop in addition to his regular position as hooker. If Hock's injury really is long-term, and Tickle doesn't buck up his ideas, then Newton might be a better bet.

true very true, i think Wagga has been outstanding for us i think moving higham to scrum may be an option worth some serious consideration wether newton comes or not i think your right he did play well there against stains

which is mroe than what can be said about dennis 'interception' moran, at his new position of full back and his old position at scrum half he stunk in both! if enwton does go i would move higham to scrum half leave orr at stand off newton at hooker interchanging with godwin.

I t is pure speculation about bringing players with him .I hope it does happen the one person I would like to see is Withers we need a good full back all the other positions are covered .

Ashton isn't a bad full back at all and he showed he's probably the only player that can defend, against saints on Friday. 3 definite tries he stopped which is more than I can say for bluddy richards who thinks touching someones shoulder with their little finger nail will knock them into touch. Lazy useless get.
