He looks promising to me. Needs to stop those penalties around the POTB though.
Re: Jordan James
Having been a Royal Marine, his fitness will serpass the SL standard, then watch him go. I think if he carries on improving week by week like he is, Wigan will offer him a new contract for next year.

Re: Jordan James
Jordan James' fitness will not be any better than a superleague players because he was in the Marines. Granted, it will have given him a very good platform for building on, but the type of fitness in the military is very different from that of a rugby league player. It will take him a couple of months or so to get up to full superleague fitness levels but once there he should be able to maintain it readily enough, injuries permitting.Gibbo posted:

Re: Jordan James
he's shocked me because i thought with him being an NL player he was just another emergency signing from when millward was just getting whoever he could to fix our injury problems, but he's a really good player and i hope he stays with wigan for a long time yet.

So it seems everyone has gone from calling Millward an idiot for trawling the lower leagues for available players to him having an eye for talent.

1 out of 4 players looks half decent - that's a 25% hit rate. Might have been lower if he could have got Mason from Cas...robjoenz posted:
