Well I will hold my hand up and say I was really happy for Millward to be our coach and though he was our panacea. I seem to recall, I was in a healthy majority and IB was virtually on his own.
Why it did not work out, who knows, will we ever know. I doubt we will but it did not work. Oddly, it seemed like he was going okay towards the end of last season when he started to coach towards the strengths of the players he had. This season for me IM tried to make the players play his way. The record books show that the IM method only works when he has two really strong running centres. He even struggled comparatively at Saints after Newlove, Iro went until Lyon came along.
Is Maurice Forgiven then?

NO WAY!
One happy day he will go and i hope to get a wisper in time to be there waving flags as he leaves.
He has ruined our club by vastly overspending - he then run away before it fell apart.
he came back with a three year plan... he has had almost six and lo and behold they want to give him another... three years!
What is wrong? Is his plan rubbish or can he not implement it?
Either way lets move on.
Even his handling of chasing a new coach was not perfect was it? How much practise do we need?
