For what it's worth, a lot of Latics fans are genuinely worried about next season. They saw how their season ended, players leaving and difficulty recruiting. Poking fun at the rugby is a defence mechanism.

It's just what people do, kids especially. I went to school in Liverpool and was poked fun at because I had never stolen anything in my life, I associate with Saint Helens and Warrington fans and they take the mickey at our plight.

Latics fans taking the mickey out of Warriors current position is no different to Warriors fans slagging off the Latics and saying they'll go down next season.

to truly apricate the highs you must experience the lows. when man u where winning the league every year you just didn,t get the same buzz. for all the kids feeling hurt by jibes from others every dog has it,s day.be proud of your club

What will latics ever win , every season will be the same, tryin to avoid the drop. At least in super league any team could win the championship, and its great to watch. fancy watchin a team whose only mission every season is to stay up. :)
