sts average attendance 9000 x 14 home games =£1mill 260 thousand something dosnt had up.Clubs seem to forget that the 1.8 mill is a max not a minimum you have to earn it to spend it .Im sure there is only us and leeds going off attendances that should be allowed to spend that amount>Some figures just dont add up i n my books :conf:

Despite what Morley said, we decided, quite rightly IMHO, that he wasn't worth the money. Fielden is being paid less, and is not only better but younger than Morley.

If we were given dispensation due to existing legally binding contracts and it was ratified by the NRL and all other clubs bar one, how does that make us in breach of the cap?
Hand on a minute, is that a dummy on the floor?
notice you fail to mention you offloading players to get a player in for the playoffs last year. But of course, that was fair play wasn't it.
Take it on the chin, you were outclassed all over the pitch.
PS. Nice to see Briers being as sporting as ever by kicking the dead ball back onto the pitch to slow the game down.

what more can you expect from briers he got his cage rattled coz his side got beat by the team he hates and as for his little anticts when we had a drop out puttin the finger up to the south standers when they were screaming at him to kick instead of taking ages to do so

Rubbish Mike...You team was in breach of the salary cap...because clubs new a season in advance of the pending changes.
Rather than release players to bring Wigan in line, Chairman Mo revealed the details to the league and asked for concideration on the size of previous contracts....It was granted by a majority vote, then what did Wigan do...they went out and signed another player streight after, wish I could remember who it was.
Wigan had another season of silverware too on the back of it.
This ain't trolling. It's dam facts.
PS
Look...I have no reason to post msg's just to wind you up.
I enjoy talking all things rugby league and it just so happens that you pies are the best at it.
To be really honest...Wigan have been my second club for years.
I have no gripes about Wigan gaining an advantage. If the clubs are willing enough to let Chairman Mo walk all over them so be it.
PPS
We all know that for the game against Warrington you could have possibly been in breach of the salary cap.
It's a fact that Wigan did not register Fielden with the RFL as a Wigan player until 45mins before kick off after pressure from the RFL, does this not set off alarm bells or at least some question why this was so??
Come on...I know your thinking something fishy has gone on there even the die-hards that are in denial can't turn their backs on this one.
It's obvious that Mo was hoping to be able to play Fielden as an unregistered player and therfore avoiding him as a count on the salary cap.
