open your eyes martin! phil clarke doesnt hate us, you split him in half and he will bleed cherry and white, it isnt clear to see he loves this club. my dad golfs with his uncle sometimes, dave clarke and he says he is still a supporter and follower of the lads and he gets to know alot of the gossip to.

Stevos hatred boils down to him being from Yorkshire and having a feud with Bill Ashurst when they both played with Penrith. I agree with Martin about Phil Clarke. I believe Phil Clarke simply looks out for number 1. He will say whatever / do whatever it takes. His brother being an agent makes me wonder if that has an impact as regards which players he favours.

there's no way Clarkey hates Wigan... when he's on Sky it's clear that he watches us week in week out as he's always talking about our last game, even if it wasn't televised, and the bias for us when we're on TV is unbelievable.

Wellens v Rads, not much in it for me.

Although I have always thought that Wellens front on defence far superior to that of Rads as he tended to do too much tackling behind the try line for my liking.

However Wellens lack of pae is a real one of contention. When he is beaten he really is beaten, whereas Rads had the pace to cover and ocaisionally make ground to tackle back.

There is no substitute for pace and if Wellens had had the good fortune to have this there would be no arguement as to who was best.

For me (probably) Rads, but only by a whikser.

Wellens is a good player having a good season, but Kris is the better player over their careers-bigger, faster, the best one-on-one tackler I have seen, apart from Hampson the safest under a high ball I have seen and an unusually prolific try scorer for a full back.

Nice bloke too.

For me wellens is emense top guy with a superb tackle i.e my mind goes back to bradford -v- st helens when he just grabed hold of les and just plonked him into touch made me laugh. He(wellens) is ace but rads is amazing to on theree days when they both play there best rads wins. But wellens has a big old life of rugby left in him so I could see even more inprovement by him to come.
Come on Wigan!!

I think the guy at Huddersfield is the best full back at the moment Flash. If he was at any of the big clubs then I think IMO he would make GB.
(watch this I bet hes not from the UK)

Whats he called now?

Jacks or something like that.

P.S. I got IMO into my message!!!!!!

Huddersfield is Paul Reilly isn't it? Don't like him much myself and I'd be surprised if he ever got near a GB shirt.
Thats it Reilly! Well its close to Jacks isn't it.

I honestly think he is fast and a very hard player who will put anyone in cuckoo land with a hard tackle, very much like Rads.

I remember last year he ripped us apart, he went off injured Huddersfield where a different team when he left the field. I was just thinking how many fullbacks make a difference to a game when going forward.
