Quite simply IMO he will never let go of trying to run the team and I see a fallout between Noble and Lindsay in the future, and yes I will tell you “I told you so”
There is only one certainty about a coaches job and that is one day he will leave the club.

Whenever Noble does leave I am sure you will be on here blaming Mo whether or not you know it for a fact he has anything to do with it.

Some of the speculation on this thread is some of the most paranoid I have read given it has been prompted by an innocuous comment from Mo about a new signing.

I said it earlier but do chairmen of other clubs comment on new signings? Of course they do. If McManus at Saints comments on Gidley is that "code" to Anderson that he had better play him or else?

There is an interesting comment form Millward is in the news. He still has issues with Saints sacking but over the Wigan sacking he says he has no problem because Wigan were "upfront and honest".

You can choose to believe that Wigan (meaning Mo) were or not and can argue its just Millward having a go at Saints yet again if you like but that is a quote from someone directly involved which is a darn sight better than some of the 2+2=5 comments in this thread.

I think Millward wanted Calderwood as a winger and Lindsey wanted Richards, instead of not signing Richards Maurice refused to back down and told Millward Richards had to play at centre.
Where did you dream that one up from?
I think Lindsey is now starting to do the same with Noble, I think Bailey is another Lindsey signing as again he doesn't actually fit into our squad, he is a second row/loose forward who can play centre, what Wigan really need is an out and out centre.

Bailey was signed before Noble arrived and as with any new coach the coach must work with the contracts he inherits. It does not matter who signed Bailey because like Calders, Ashton, Hock and many others in the ream they were here or signed for 2007 before Noble arrived.
I think Noble would have preferred to bring in some forwards, he has always seemed the type of coach who like to build a club around a big pack of forwards, probably due to his back ground as a forward.
Well he might but unless he was here when Bailey was signed, which he wasn't, there is nothing he could do about that signing.

But then again if Noble wants a big pack why waste money on Withers? Now I think it is safe to assume that is definitely a Noble signing and a controversial one that has caused much debate.

I would rather see another prop on the books than Withers so is the fact we have Withers instead Mo's fault for interfering or not?
This is all speculation of course only people actually involved will know what goes on between them coach and chairman but I think there is alot of evidence suggesting interference by Lindsey.
Go on then, present your evidence. All you have put forward so far are some really wild outlandish rumours and that isn't evidence.

DaveO dont state facts and information that people do not want to hear or accept.

For most someone has to be blamed and its usually the overseas players or MO and even DW.

MO has a right to state an opinion or should we all do what most want MO to do never state an opinion again.

This board would be boring. Noble it too strong a person for MO. If he was not a strong person hed still be at Bradford today.

Lindsey should not interfere in the squad no matter how big or small that interference is. The coach is the one who knows what he is doing, Lindsey should keep is opinions to himself, Noble opinion is the one that matters about Bailey not Lindsey's and what does he know about centres anyway, he signed David Vaealiki.

Whats is a strike centre?
"But we need a strike centre because we're skinny in this department, and I feel sure Phil can do a great job for us there."

I agree with this... Lyndsey has nothing to do with the coaching staff, if he was going to put his beak and thong in  why dont he get a coaching badge?

And as yet we have no evidence of Mo interfering with Nobles squad at all including the comment that started this thread as it does not prove a thing.

Don't be ridiculous.

If asked is Withers a good addition to the squad if he said "no comment" you would be saying he was undermining the coach and his new signing.

Mo is bound to be asked about players and can't not reply.
Noble opinion is the one that matters about Bailey not Lindsey's
So why get hot under the collar about it?

He signed Barrett as well so I guess he knows nothing about stand off's either. Citing the lemons Mo has signed over the years will never win you the argument because he has had more success than failures.

It may have not been totally Noble's signing but Bailey did actually put pen to paper on the 17th May.Noble joined us on the 20th April. Surley enough time for Noble to block th deal.
In which case he must have approved of it.
