Thornley is going to get a run to prove himself though isnt' he? We're only 2/3rds through the season. He's got 10+ matches to prove himself.

I imagine a couple of MOTM performances would see a new contract offered.

IMO he's not been great when not injured. Very unlikely to pass to his winger. He hasn't played much anywhere he's been due to injury so I'd say the risk is not great in releasing him - but I look forward to being proven wrong.

But he was in the team on the last couple of occasions that we have won a trophy.

It will be too late. Staffing / contracts are decide well before the end of the current season.

I dont rate him at all, some people on here see something in him but I wasnt bothered when he went to the dark side and he couldnt get in the Sale team so Ive not a clue while we had him back
