You're right. We should really get this thread back on topic, in other words discussing the ramifications of a possible buy-out, which I don't think is an impossibility in the long-run nor would necessarily be to the detriment of the club.

It's funny how these threads always seem to get back to the hatred of the Latics fans towards the rugby. At least we can all (mostly) discuss it in a sensible manner without it degenerating into a full on slanging match.

Wigan Athletic will never even come close to being in the shadow of Wigan R.L. There's only one club in Wigan, and it's Cherry & White.
