I agree with the points made by cp and others about our lack of push, second-phase and imagination on the attacking play.

For me, this was particularly obvious when we got beat by Saints in Cardiff. The way we lost reminded me of the way GB lost against Australia (a predictable 1 v 13 attacking style with no-one in support)- and like others, I question the coach's tactics in this area.

If this is obvious to us, I can't believe the coaching staff don't see it also. So, what's going on? Is there too much emphasis on setting the line for the next play whilst the one-out attacker is still in motion? Is it because it's a conservative attacking pattern used to reduce errors? (if the latter, it's not working). Or is it simply down to a lack of awareness from the potential support players?

If it's an intentional tactic, I just don't see any advantage - except that (in theory) it should reduce errors.
