I am still up for it just need to sort the time off work.

Will be coming up on my own and probably meet you on the morning of the climb as it looks like i can only get 1 1/2 days off work (travel in afternoon to scotland, walk next day).

Im ok for accomodation btw.

Yes Mike thats our walk. Glad to see they put a bit about the site in. They phoned me up last week & i did stress that this idea came about on the site and that it was a team effort by all on here. Thought they would put more on about that in the article.

Haven't seen his circumference; maybe that's what he meant. Too much Haggis?

In my case, I'm afraid it's a combination of circumference and old knackered lungs & legs, but I'll be there in spirit! Two flights of stairs kills me off these days!

No, Half Pint, circumferance is correct I am afraid. I am trying though. 46" waste and 19stone 5lbs is too heavy to contemplate climbing. One thing I would advise those going up to do is respect the mountain, it is not a stroll. Last thing we want is someone carried off. All the will in the world will not get you up there if you are not fit. Jim, HC

You have a point HC, Im 17 stone now. But some of thats muscle because of the weights 4 times a week . I was 14 stone before going the gym
