Not the same person Steve Brehneney was in the side that got relegated way back .

sorry but im going for moran, the main reason being, yes the likes of doc murray, ricky bibey, wes davies etc were atrotious, however Moran was worse!, maily cos he would do some brilliant piece of skill (example being the self made try at wakefield in the challenge cup when he chipped the defnce and ran it in himself) and make you believe he was going to turn it all around and finally live up to lam's recommendation but no then he resorted to being utter rubbish again!

to be fair to him he did do some stand out stuff where you thought, 'nice'. so not all of his performances were rubbish, just 98% of them

I have to admit, I'm inclined to go with Moran from the 10 years I've been watching the team, with Jamie Ainscough in there as well. Never have two players who promised so much delivered so little. Moran was so out of touch with what the rest of the team were thinking that it was embarrassing at times, whereas Ainscough was just the most frustrating player running half a pitch and then seemingly forgetting what to do next.

An honourary mention to Ricky Bibey for not only being the first Wigan player for several years to get sent off, but I seem to remember it was his first game as well vs Salford! He didn't improve after that, and the best thing he ever did for Wigan was earn us a transfer fee from Saints!
