I think we all had a gut reaction after Friday a weakened Saints side put one over on us now that i have come back to earth and being sensible .
Sacking the coach is not the answer ,changing tactics is though .I feel we have a need to change. We are flat in attack no second phase cant even do the basics properly play one man rugby .When you look at the players who played on Friday between them they had a wealth of experience between either in the NRL or at international level at some stage barring Colbon,Goulding,O'Carroll it is an experienced side and should do better than what they were doing.
Its alwright slagging players off they all stayed at home Friday and looking at the forum most of the players were slagged off.
My opinion is that we are not fit enough and yards too slow and try to slow the game to our level hence we are giving too many penalties for lying on and not retreating back to 10 yards .We have no planned moves at all none that i can see .Our thing at the moment is we bash down the middle one man rugby no offloads no backing up kick min the corner for Richards , and yards too slow even the defense has taken a turn for the worse.
I think they need more time on the training pitch and less time in the gym .We have a pool of coaches why do they not all work together with small groups of players and have a sharp, shock treatment.

We have got to make the top 6 (with points deducted), finish 3rd in the play offs and reach the semi final of the challenge cup just to maintain the status quo Right Cross.

We have been told Better owners, no salary cap breach deductions, better players and a coaching team/players who have worked together longer SHOULD equal IMPROVEMENT.

So what do people expect on that basis?

Top 4 finish, 3rd play offs minimum, cup final minimum, better quality of play

1. More than happy to be wrong - but getting into the top six is NOT what I count as success.

2. If we can all see some fundamental problems with the way we have been playing for the last two years ( Flat attack, slow defence etc), why hasn't it been put right ? Either Nobby can't see anything wrong, or he's not up to putting it right.

3. It makes me sad to see so many people keen to prove the scousers right- that we are happy to live on past glories and steadfastly refuse to acknowledge that we are bit players in SL
