so long as you have stops its a nice drive.
We did it in august and if i had not been able to sort cheap flights this time it was my fall back plan.

But as it was we booked just before half time and all is well.
France here we come AGAIN!

Would it be unfair of me to suggest that the administration might have looked into flights etc to Perpignan earlier than Monday, given how likely it was that we would beat the Bulls and the Cats would beat Wire?
What next - we beat Les Cats only to learn that all the players boots are being sent to be re-soled next week and so we'll have to play Saints in bare feet?

Blinkin' heck! I posted a reply that was immeditately made redundant when the club website changed and announced they had managed to charter aplane after all!

We (me and husband) can't afford the trip but at least there is one for those who can stump up the dosh.

The answer is: if you can find something cheaper than by all means book that.

I don't think the club is trying to rip people off, it's just the best deal they can get at short notice. There's a difference between trying to find a seat or two on a cheap flight and organising group travel. To put it in perspective: to charter a plane last year you were being quoted about £38,000; same deal this year will cost you not far short of £70,000.

When the papers say that the era of cheap air travel is coming to and end, they're right.
