I think Cunningham would be a great addition but i think the rumour is rubbish and there is more chance of Barrett staying than Cunningham coming

Joe Lydon did once
nearly sign him for Wigan. Jack Robinson vetoed it (money problems at the time

) and Joe Lydon quit the club shortly after. Wonder how things would have turned out for both parties
if the deal had gone through. :eh:

Stu is a fitness freak but its better being that way than not givin a toss,
He is also very mithodical(spelling) in his build up for games,
I just hope the RFL don't do what they did to him last year on the morning of the leeds playoff game and call him at 0700 at demand he went to head office for a random drug test as this messed his prep up for the game,
Please note this is NOT a dig at stuart but I'm making the point about him being 100/ commited to his rugby league and how the RFL can cause disruption to any players prep for a game.

Lindsay and Whelan nearly signed Cunnigham a few years ago but he decided to stay with Stains - they upped his money!
Leon Pryce also agreed to join Wigan, but eventually decided against it as the club insisted that he relocate to Wigan. That was before he signed for Stains!!!

Stains "came in" with a bigger contract offer and he waited for a retort offer from Wigan. ML was in France at that time "sorting out" the French national coaching job for his friend, John Monie. Wigan missed out because of that reason only.
