He would need to come with full control over team matters with no interferance from the board and would have to be backed to make the tough decisions that are blatantly obvious. From what Ive been told by people that he has coached he is a decent coach, plays the game that we deserve to watch and is inspirational as a motivator. This team requires motivation, ok there are problems with some players but nothing that cant be changed with the right men in charge.
This team has potential but Nobby has lost the respect of the players and it appears that they dont want to play for him badly enough which is sad.
Hanley was very well respected at stains but did have some issues managing the more challenging egos within the team at the time. Chris Joynt had masses of respect for him.
