Ainscough and what fans need to realise
Re: Ainscough and what fans need to realise
Whatever you do, ignore that duty of care garbage he spouts out. It is ludicrous an whatsmore when it suits him he even ignore it himself.

Didn't realise he had used that term...cpwigan wrote:Whatever you do, ignore that duty of care garbage he spouts out. It is ludicrous an whatsmore when it suits him he even ignore it himself.
I am basing my opinion on my own experiences TJing academy, NL and SL clubs.

If Ainscough isnt the first name on the team sheet for Quins, then noble seriously needs his bumps checkin...
Wish list: Billy Slater please!!!!!!!!

he has a duty of care to all players, he is being disciminative due to age. You people can do the job as other teams illustraterobjoenz wrote:Just thinking that Noble has duty of care to look after players. Agreed, harder for forwards than backs but intensity of tackles at SL level is massively greater than academy. I think he'll be cautious with how much game time he gets so soon after making his debut. But... what do I know, I'm not a coach.cpwigan wrote:Rob it is but it never is on a short term basis and not on a long term basis for some players. Ainscough fits the category of a player who plays better and better the higher the standard of RL he is selected in. He is also a winger and it is not the same as a young forward moving from reserve to SL for example.
People need to stop finding reason not to play players. It is far too negative.

He's not even dropped him yet, he might not do.pedro wrote:he has a duty of care to all players, he is being disciminative due to age. You people can do the job as other teams illustrate
I'm just thinking about how a younger body will take to bigger hits when not used to it. Thought gradual would be better approach.
Re: Ainscough and what fans need to realise
Rob physically there is little difference particularly for a winger. In fact the higher the standard generally the cleaner the game. The speed of play is the real issue re adjusting.robjoenz wrote:He's not even dropped him yet, he might not do.pedro wrote:he has a duty of care to all players, he is being disciminative due to age. More importantly some players simply get better as the standard increases and never have issues adjusting., Ainscough fits that category.
I just wish I could get you officials educated. In 1 season I could make you all proper officials.
Re: Ainscough and what fans need to realise
Why don't you become a ref then?cpwigan wrote:I just wish I could get you officials educated. In 1 season I could make you all proper officials.
Re: Ainscough and what fans need to realise
If I had the required level of fitness, I would much rather play than referee.
However, if I did I would make sure I knew which snake in the grass turned in Silverwood before I assumed my mantle as No 1 referee. Whoever did so deserves drowning in a public toilet.
