True, but I'm prepared to bet that if we'd put on a decent performance in that first game, we'd have kept most of the "extra" (ie non season ticket holding) ones.

First 2 home games last season were 16,667 v Cas and 15,444 v Bradford.

First two this year 14,377 and 12,079. Whichever way you look at it, that's a massive drop.

A lot of people have had massive drop's in salary as well, if a two income household suddenly becomes a one income household, things like trips to the rugby get hit.

Fan (noun1). Contraction of “fanatic” ,
a person whose enthusiasm or zeal for something is extreme or beyond normal limits.

Fan (noun2) an inanimate object which pushes air around either by wafting back and forth or spinning endlessly round.

Which are you?

Get behind your team and stop this pointless blowing hot air around.

Stay away, you miss the game (it’s not all about winning) it’s a great game to watch win or lose. I travel 200 miles round trip to watch the game

I understand feeling go high but the team is run by professionals with lots of aspects of business to contend with. I.L. doesn’t want the team to do badly B.N doesn’t want the team to do badly. It’ in nobody’s interest to talk about a boycott.
Have you read the newspapers recently there is a bit of a downturn in the economy at the moment more misery won't help.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I know before I post this that you moaners will not do it but here goes. You want change then it is very simple and will only take two week to have change. Yip two weeks and Mr Noble will be gone.

Simply don’t go to the game until he goes. Things would defiantly change after two home games I promise.

Now I know you are not going to do it so please stop moaning and leave that to us proper fans that are willing to do this instead of watching the absolute rubbish we have been watching over the recent years.

Drastic changes need drastic actions..
Wigan watcher are you a Saint Helens supporter in disguise?
You sound like one.

I'm a Wigan supporter. I support my team through thick and thin. I'm not a defeatist "sack the coach" idiot every time things don't go smooth.

Wigan 2006 Saved from relagation by BRIAN NOBLE ---- after Rugby league deducted points

Wigan 2007 6th after further point deductions Got beat at Hull

Wigan 2008 4th 80 minutes away from a grand final Beat by Leeds

Brian said he would improve the team year on year up till now he has been true to his word. The trouble with you Saints fans is that you think Wigan supports are not Loyal

Well we are SO TAKE YOUR STAY AWAY TACTICS BACK TO THE KNOWLSLEY SHED. Sorry you are doing that already
Either talk sense or don’t talk at all!

Maybe you could take heed of your own statement.
All this talk of boycotting the match, do you honestly think that it will make any difference at all? There are about 8500 season ticket holders and about 2500 regular paying customers. How many do you think come on here? Maybe 200-300 at the most. That would mean that you have to spread the word to at least 10500 more fans in order for this to happen. If you think about it realistically it will never, ever happen.
I am annoyed and dismayed as anyone on this site, but I support (and will continue to do so) the team and the club regardless of results. The club is bigger than the coach and sooner or later things will change. Maybe/hopefully for the better, or even for the worse. But at the end of the day, even if Pol Pot was in charge at Wigan, I would still be a fan.
If you went on other fans forums or on the BBC forum you would see that we are already becoming the laughing stock amongst fans because of our booing and suggestions of boycot!
