The truth is though they still couldnt beat a patched up 'stains' team in the rain (everyone knows saints are not the same team when they cant chuck it about) To whinge about the ref is laughable, Ainscough's try was 4 foot forward (no exaggeration) as well as in touch. Funny really, ive not heard any of you crying about that yet, and as for lying on, i hate it, its spoiling the game but every team does it, you lot included :D
You might be spouting a bit too Saintly one. Saints are more conservative than they were even under Anderson. The support play between the forwards is not the same. More one man drives. It is all relative because Saints are in a rebuilding phase and trying to bring through several youngsters. They will do that and they have a very good coach.

Sadly for you, they will never be as good as Wigan

To be fair Geoff, i wouldnt argue with most of that( other than Hocks 'try') If you take a look on the saints forum though, they're all whinging about wigan high shots and lying on etc. All teams do it, but to listen to people on here you'd think your lot were a bunch of choir boys.

The officials did okay. The game was clean. 2009 has seen a vast improvement on previous season officiating.

We made too many errors, your defence was amazing... Not much more to it than that. Most of us wanted to see some commitment from the players and thats what we got so most of us are pretty happy. Thought Bentham was far worse in your Leeds games and if he had been reffing last night the players would have been brawling left right and centre.

have to agree with you about the lying on ,we have coplained about it all season if you was on here when we lost to hudderfield you know our opinion of that as for a patched up sts team so was our we changed our nmain spot ie fullback at the ;last minute so all our weeks plans had gone out the window. And forward passes dont start on that 1 i thought you had a player caleed forward in your team we had to shout it that much to the touge judge

True, but that's what us fans do, innit? I admit there were a lot of his odd decisions that went our way, too - I don't think the Graham tackle was completed when he got penalised for playing on, for example.

Still seen similar tries to Hocky's given before, though...if that had been a Saints player you'd have thought it was a try!

Welcome to the board, by the way!

First of all, we now have a Winger not afraid of trusting his pace and using the side line.

Secondly, £4 at 10/1 thank you very much.

Thirdly. I have a theory about Saints players turning ours over in the tackle. Is it practice for Leon in a few weeks time?

Possibly...and the way they lift the legs in the tackle...

You should see what they do in the changing rooms with the communal bar of Fairy soap.
