Whether they have kept a game or two in reserve or reached his limit I do not know.
That's very interesting, if true. A blatant lie by Ian Lenagan on the RLFans thread?

I was about to write the same thing-has it been confirmed 100% that the post was IL's?

I did say this was true over a week a go, like I said then the person who told me should know....
By the way, he has three games left
Oh, and this person said he would play for free if he had too.

So basically you are calling IL a liar because you stated in another post you believed it was him who posted on another forumn saying this rumour was untrue :eh:

Surely the option for the Challenge Cup Final & Semi_Final would be left open o Shaun, if he has three games remaining.

It was IL posting on RLfans. Interestingly he went against Wigan RLFC policy not to comment on rumours.
i never claimed anything re Ian Lenagan. That is for others to decide.
Initially I did not believe the Ainscough contract scenario but I have had it confirmed by a source that cannot be better.
Another. Martin Gleeson was paid 150K per season by Wire. He signed for 180K per season at Wigan. However, from a member of the Gleeson family his contract is tructured so that this season, he is paid a small % but in 2010 he will be paid 320K to enable Wigan to fit him in the salary cap.
This is not the same as when we got in trouble. We got in trouble for renogiating / ripping up existing contracts. This is up front above board. Many players get paid differing amounts per season.
If you pay someone 320K then it has implications. I am led to believe it eats up the money gained by not renewing Phil Baileys contract unless we release other players etc.

Fair enough i was just making the point that you confirmed it was IL. Your source contradicts that statement completely which seems very strange considering as you say this went against Wigan RLFC policy not to comment on rumours. Do we now believe your source or the chairman because his statement if i remember correctly left no wriggle room for him.I have to believe the chairman because if he was lying his integrity would be destroyed and his position untenable.
