if we was to get rid of noble who could possibley take our team to the next level Edwards tied up, Farrel not experienced enough, shaun wane, give him a go he is doing a realy good job with what he has at the moment untill we either make him permenant or we have a coach in mind, but personally i have give up on noble as we are inconsistant and he is full of exscuses now in stead of results :doz:

But. . .

just read 'Shevingtons' reply to my post.
firstly its in your signature....you've cocked something up.

secondly. where is the need for the comment of 'neither of you have been fans since before the 80's. the other guy claims he has.
i am not old enough. not my fault its impossible.
besides, what use is a comment like that?

it you who needs to grow up. even at your 'age'.

i really am at a loss as to why that comment was made. simply unconstructive and argumentative.
yes many of us wigan fans (oh i forget, if you've not wupported since around the 80's you aren't a fan) but come on, what good is that?
stop turning this site into RL fans.

We are all fans, we all have difference experiences, we all have different levels of knowledge and understanding. Let's keep the insults towards each other out.

Blame Noble, blame IL, blame whoever but keep it civil and respect other views.

Good comment, unfortunately drifting backwards though.
I said a long time ago (in my signature) that Noble will kill this club and that is exactly what is happening, in more than just results as well.

I saw another quote earlier which someone said that Wigan need to show some perseverance with their youngsters and is sick of signing second rate imports, i agree with this 100% but it will never happen whilst BN is here.
When has Noble ever persevered with a young player ?

i just come back from game and im absolutely gutted.
think its time we all need to realise is that we are a rubbish team who are lazy. to teach the players a lesson il and bn should get them in training every day instead of letting them go on holiday while theres no game for 2 weeks.

Nobby is a great coach.
I had a feeling this would be a banana skin for you.
Losing quality players to England at a time when you play Celtic away.
You have a shallow squad, so you will bounce back with a full compliment next week:exc:
Hock, is your best player. Tompkins has been impressive and Lockers was a blow.
But these lads are a vital part of your team!

Who was captain last night? Brian Noble set out a team to do a job. HE DID NOT PLAY. Why when thinks go wrong do you scream sack the coach? The team did not respect the opposition. They were on a swan. The Celtic players turned up and the players could not get in gear. Noble was not resposible for that. The players were. There is an attitude problem throughout Wigan that is crippling the team. It is not a coach thing, it was here before the last set of coaches. It has been present from the start of superleague. It will be there until Wigan realise that they are just another team. They have to play to win. While they are on their high horse saying we are the greatest team that ever was they are treating the others with contempt. Lazy and lack of killer instinct are the result. Celtic won because they are hungry. Wigan never gives the impression they are hungry enough. Skill alone will win some games but hunger will keep you coming back when the chips are down.

What the club needs to do at this moment of time is one of three things
Sack Noble now
Tell Noble his contract is not being renewed next season
Give him a new contract for next season
The first 2 the club could advertise for a coach its surprising who applies for the job .
If its the latter then i will not renew my season ticket along with a lot of people who have said the same.

Who picks the team?
who could drop so called lazy players with bad attitude? who could do something regards attitude?
Who should motivate and keep players hungry?
Who picks players who don't seem to give a toss but drops youngsters who on most occasions out perform those players?
Yes the team do have a responsibility to play but who do you think he will drop 99% of the time? it will be a Goulding, Ainscough, Tomkins or O'carol what does that do but dent the confidence of a young player putting it under the vale of ''duty of #?@@~~~~ care ''
How can Mossop be playing first team on loan for another club higher in the table?
I don't dislike Nobble but enough's enough all the things you argue in your post point in one direction ''Nobble'' he could if he had the ability sort it out.
Fitness wise Fekka is heavier than ever Riddel is more hippo than pig..... until ''HE NOBBLE'' sees and gets them fit they should not be picked ''IF THEY'' as professional sports men do not then get rid!!
All this fannying around is his fault no body else the blame lies at his door.
You should open your eyes or do you have some-kind of ''DUTY OF CARE'' to Nobble?
