at least we have a second kicker now well done Phelps, good to see Goulding on the score sheet twice. sounds like a good game and also MM would have learnt alot about his saquad with this performace, especially in the last 10 minutes

It was the best of times; It was the worst of times. .

Charles Dickens (A Tale of 2 cities - just in case) never had the privilege of watching Wigan RL, but sadly today neither did I. Could scarcely believe the scoreline as it unfolded, but a great result.
So the best of times. The worst would have been a walkover win which proved nothing and risked complacency.
Somehow I feel that previously we'd never have fought back from such a position, so I like the grit to grind it out. Not best pleased with conceding 8 tries however, but this was only a friendly (whatever that may be!).
I look forward with renewed enthusiasm to the start for real. Let's hope we can fill the Double Wigan Stadium to the rafters and take our place again where we always should be - at the top!

Sounds like an entertaining game - and George has saved Mags's job!

Win to keep fans happy and hopefully several players / the whole team played well and will get better and better. As already aluded, the strong finish to the game bodes well.

Not sure fans can remember but under John Monie we often struggled at tad in the pre season and say first or second league game.
