Hull KR prop Scott Taylor may have played his last game for the the club after refusing to discuss a contract extension. The 21-year-old has 12 months left of his contract with the Robins and chairman Neill Hudgell told the Hull Daily Mail: "He refuses to negotiate at all, which is a very strong indicator that he doesn't want to be here any more. I think that means he has played his last game for the club."

Is that a play by Hull HR to get more money out of Wigan and who ever else is in for him?

Looks like it to me!

This news story is bad news for Wigan. More clubs may try to get in on the action.

True, but they can't force him to sign for the highest bidder, if it's someone like Widnes. The player still has a say in where he goes to.
I think, if Ian Lenegan is serious about signing him, then it's probability that he'll sign for us. Unless one of the other top teams comes in for him too. Most players that are sought after want to win trophies and he's only going to be able to fulfill that ambition by signing for one of the top two or three teams. Unless he's greedy and just signs for whoever wants to pay him the most.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Why the panic? The lad has 12 months on his contract. If he wants to keep his options open until mid season next year why should he not do so? A lot of our out of contract players re- signed during the season not the year before. Sounds like the club either want rid or want to secure him before he is ready. Jim
