More continuing lazy journalism. It's surprising but most get paid pretty well and all they do is sit in pubs reading gossip sites like this and writing their trash as some sort of "in the know" reporting. It is one of the reason I stopped buying the Observer and W.E.P. You get cheaper and first hand reading from sites like this
It really is quite bizarre how they get away with it. I obviously don't get the papers being in Chester but I have read enough on the on-line versions to not bother any more.

There is a simple rule to follow. If there are no quotes attributed to anyone from the club such as IL, Rads or whoever then it's made up speculation gleaned from places like this.

You can take any article that is phrased along the lines of "Sources close to the club indicate..." as total BS because I don't think they employ any journalist who has any such sources or any capability to investigate anything.

The trouble with this scenario is that the club does not recognise hard work & loyalty from its players but demands it from them.

They are suppose to be honoured just to play play for Wigan regardless of any remuneration!!

And some are on lot less money than they deserve to be compared to others!!

It's all wrong what is going on behind the closed doors of Wigan Warriors IMO :(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

IMO it will be a mistake not to retain H for at least the forthcoming season.

Spot on Josie. The worrying thing is Hansen saga is the tip of the iceberg. Imo we will lose at least 1 of the promoted top youngsters before season ends through poor handling by the club. But hey as long as we can pick up mediocre players from bankrupt clubs and pay them a pittance why should we worry about bringing in home grown talent and paying them a proper wage.

Well, why mention it in the first place then?

It really does annoy me this "behind closed doors" statements.
