If I was Sam's agent and had just trousered 15% of his transfer fee, I would be looking for his next contract before the ink on his present one was dry. Agents ostensibly represent their clients but they are also businessmen looking to maximise their own income. Sam had a 5 year contract with Wigan that lasted 2 years. He has signed a 3 year deal with NZW. Expect the 'talks' to begin before Christmas!
