SL 2014 reminds me of the 2 seasons in one when RL switched from winter to summer. Either way, we cannot expect people to attend fixtures that are seemingly meaningless to so many players taking part.

A situation which has been created since the introduction of the top eight play off system which has given the bigger and richer clubs more room to lose more games, but still be good enough to get into the top four or so.
Proved by Leeds winning the play off and Grand Final from 5th position and ourselves from 4th during the period, it has been in operation.
