Although it was Lawrence who should be credited with it

Ginger Pearl deservedly the MOTM. Top tackler for Wigan, and the inspiration for Wigan's revival.

A wins a win but it could have easily gone to the Giants.Gels seriously needs to sort out that positional play before next week.i liked the look of Hughes again.i would have him back if possible.Joel needs a big kick up the arse as I'm far from impressed.Good to have manfredi back( if not on the right wing).he looks so solid on both defence, attack and under the high ball.
Crosby is getting better every game and I still think George does more damage at first receiver.we missed flowers big go forward runs tonight but Farrell was outstanding

Wane just called it an 'ugly win'. I thought it was a superb game to start off the Super 8. Brilliant game for a neutral!

I don't want to lose Jack either but he wants guaranteed play and he won't get it at Wigan

Bateman, McIlorum and Farrell didn't stop tackling tonight. Phenomenal engines.

For the record, were we playing Waneball tonight?
I'm never sure. Then again as we have won, its instigator will no doubt elect to remain silent!
