Today's Game
Re: Today's Game
I thought Brown had a decent game today...not MOM, admittedly, I don't know where the press got that one from, but much more structure to his stand-off play today - partly Millwards coaching, I suspect, and partly the better understanding he's getting with Moran. He's been played too often in the centres to develop his #6 playing, IMO. Some of his ofloads were delightful, especially the one for Dallas' first try. Needs to work on his kicking game more, again a result of playing centre too much.

Thought we played Sunday. I know im an idiot. Thing is its optional where i work and i usually do not do BH. Did not realise we were on SKY my dad came down and told me so i went home for lunch.MrsLam posted:
Why did you agree to work BH! I would have cancelled but I've already got out of the last two. Good Friday I said I was on holiday (was at the Wigan Saints match), last one I went on holiday with my boyfriend and ended up working this one![]()
Can't wait to watch the game, if I get drunk enough I can pretend that I don't know the score and then be shocked when we win...maybe?
As they say we live and learn. Im not doing a BH again.

Re: Today's Game
I am surprised by the negative feedback brown has got for todays match, Hodgson was a ******g liability and thank god we got rid and my opinion of brown was the same until this season i think he has stood up and been counted, i have never seen a performance like his against Saints from one of our lads in quite some time. Dont know if players bother reading posts but Kev keep it up:o

Re: Today's Game
I thought danny sculthorpe was superb, why has he only been playing 20ish minutes under denis? He looked fitter than he has done in a while and actually like he wanted to be on the pitch running at the defense, hes a bit too keen to offload all the time, but he seems to be learning when is and when isnt a good time. SeuSeu was a bit disappointing in his go forward and didnt make to much of an impact today, i didnt think. Tickle had a on/off day he was superb in attack, as usual, but some sloppy defense let him down. Moran was outstanding today, both in attack and defense, looked a lot sharper than usual and after a litle chat with millward on the sidelines was even better, should have got MOTM over brown, who was better than usual and seemed to work better at 6 today than i've ever seen him do. Carney had a disappointing game i thought, was very quiet along with aspinwall. Wild was his usual self, a bit lethargic at times. Dallas, gleeson, guisset, hargreaves and tomkins all had consistent games in attack and defense, would have been nice to see a bit more of gleesons attacking ability though. Radlinski let us down with the school boy error, not getting the ball clear, but otherwise he was good. Godwin and Newton were good as usual today, didnt notice any problems with them and i've noticed recently Newton has calmed down quite a bit with his temper. Hansen was good as well, seems to go on no matter whats thrown at him.

At least Hodgson ran forward and caught the ball at salford, which is one thing he could never do at wigan.damien morrissey posted:

Couldnt agree more he cost us four trys to the one he scores every time i saw him play i lost the ammount of times he cost me a grey hair i just cannot belive he is in the GB squad no wonder the aussies have a laugh when they see the squad sheet i cant see Gasnier and Best being worried in defense or attack with him. Alker should get a chance the aussies would struggle with him.

He's obviously in for the laughter factor, i mean the aussies must be weeing themselves laughing at the thought of facing him if he is one of the "top 40" to be picked for britain!damien morrissey posted:

Bloody hell laugh factor. I thought Noble was useful but that is an insult to british RL he hasnt got a prayer of going in the side so what is the point.I would love to see him in a Bradford shirt and watch the lads running at him thats worth at least 12 points a game
