Got to see it finally yesterday although enjoyment spoilt through knowing the score first. Certainly not good publicity for Wigan TV - on Saturday we were trying to contact them to find out why it wasn't coming through (Wigan v Leigh came through no probs) and they don't give a phone number, they ask you to email them which we did and still not had a reply 3 days later. We did ring the general number but no reply. Had really looked forward to watching it live and Wigan RL really need to sort this out for future events, ok it was only a friendly but at this time of year where we're all gagging for some rugby it was a huge disappointment

Had a reply to my email re the problems,
" We are really sorry that you were unable to view our live stream of the Catalans v Wigan game on Saturday 28th January.

Our investigations have been concluded and have found there were issues with the video player issued to certain users. We use industry leading technology which is supposed to detect internet connection speeds, the users browser and operating system, and then match this to one of 30 video players to provide the best possible stream. Unfortunately, on this occasion this technology appears to have failed for a small number of users.

Owing to the fact that many users did not see the game we took the decision to upload the game to Wigan TV much quicker than had been intended. The game was available to watch again later that evening.

We accept that our communication could and should have been much better during the first half of the game when there was clearly a problem for many users and we will ensure we communicate better should a similar situation ever arise again "
