Don't forget the stabilisers.

We'll see what he has to offer.

I still think small players don't last, especially in todays attritional game.

That said this will likely affect him more towards the end of his career when he will no longer be at Wigan.

Let's see how he goes.

It’ll be interesting to see how many games he actually gets, not many I’ll be bound

I always think anyone we sign is virtually guaranteed games come what may.

You know when I wrote that I was thinking similar thoughts Dave if I'm honest just wanted others views on it, i just hope they keep expectations lower and let the lad grow into whatever role Wane has in store for him.

He’ll get a chance in pre season to make his claim I’m sure. Shaun Wane has already said he sees him pushing hard for a spot in the side for the games in Australia.

My opinion on him hasn’t changed. It’s a signing we can’t lose on. He’ll have come over on not much money and it’s a low risk gamble. If it works out then great but if not we don’t lose a great deal.

Romain Navarette only played a handful of games from the bench, Sam Hopkins never started a SL game, Gelling played less tha half the games in his first season.

Your exceptions to the rule (and Gelling isn't anyway) don't prove it. In the current team look at Isa and watch Sarge be first pick.

I bet Hamlin figures very quickly but if he does not, why have we decided to sign someone not ready for the 1st team when we have supposedly got the best academy in the league?
