Well ive already expressed my views on these non-quota players. It all started for me to realise how bad it was when Ian henderson was going to be called up for Scotland to play in the Nations cup. He is Australian yet becuase his great grandparents or sumthing like that he can play for them. Wigan have got 8 overseas players in their squad and you are only suppose to have 3
Every team is doing it to try and keep up with everyone else. There was a big fuss when Johns came over and saying it should be stopped but I think this is a much bigger problem for our National game as well as development of SL players.

This board isn't the force it used to be either... too many young posters have been thrown in at once and have taken on too much before they are ready resulting in discipline problems, our big names (Geoff, Ian, Mrs Lam)aren't making the contributions they used to, expensive foreign signings (Vaeliki's Girl)dazzle occasionally but then disappear for weeks when we need them most and my head has been turned by the lure of the big money rugby union boards' greater international profile. What should we do to ensure our place back among the elite message boards next season?

I'm quite hopeful that many of the youngsters will continue to improve...assuming we can keep hold of them under salary cap restrictions! The loss of "primrose'n'blue" and "wiresph" to Warrington doesn't seem to have affected morale too much, but I hope our Welsh signings don't defect to the new Celtic Crusaders team next season.
Contrary to rumours circulating in various Wigan pubs, however, I can categorically state that I am not yet ready to retire!
