Even at the open training session he was like that surely they should have got his elbows sorted during the off season.

Re: Cust
He does seem patched up doesn't he?
For such a young guy that is worrying.
Maybe he needs a rest and proper recovery for his own benefit?
When he does return, surely it has to be at 9?

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Re: Cust
What I don’t get is why Cust and smith have switched sides this season? Cust looked far better on the left and smith hasn’t been better this season than he was last season so why have they switched? It’s not an excuse for cust but it can make an impact in a players game

That’s good news,I certainly rate the lad but somethings off in his game at the moment I did wonder if he’s carrying a knock the way he’s strapped up.josie andrews wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 2:27 pmThink it’s just precautionary Alanfozzieskem wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 11:46 amEven at the open training session he was like that surely they should have got his elbows sorted during the off season.![]()

Pretty much yeah. The injury at Spurs spooked him a bit, so he straps them up for a bit more stability. Medically there is nothing wrong with either elbow.nathan_rugby wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 8:48 pmThe elbow padding is just for fashion then? The Pearl1 wrote: ↑Sun Mar 26, 2023 5:54 pm Cust has said himself there is nothing wrong with his elbows
