We are miles ahead quality wise where we were at that point yet we constantly have people moaning left right and centre calling out everyone from the coaching staff, the owners and the players. It's also been said on here someone thinks it would be better if the club don't win anything.

Well how about we just get behind the lads during this poor run and stop all this toxic sniping all the time. It's frustrating to see us in this slump, absolutely, but creating a toxic atmosphere and not going to games is not the answer. We have no divine right to win every game and yes, everyone wishes we could win more trophies (or at least most of us do) and wish we could play the best rugby and win more games but this is part of supporting a sports team. You have to take the rough with the smooth
Equally where a supporter believes that the coaches/players are underperforming, they are entitled to express their views.

There is losing and then there is the manner of the losses, taking into account the funds available for the squad.

My point is that tomorrow we could have either cust, french, field,Hampshire, shorrocks,at stand off who knows most other teams have settled spines I believe we should select our spine and stick with it

As a fan of a big club in any sport you are happy when things are going well and disappointed when there not.

Some are saying “Fans weren’t saying this weeks ago when we were winning”…well of course not.

We all want the team to do well and love the club and critique them when things are going the way it should be.

If we didn’t care when Wigan lost and always said “oh well better luck next week” then there would be no passion or atmosphere come game day.

I dont agree with the all fans would say this when we were winning.I told a fellow fan at work that we was in for a few big shocks after them 3 wins.He reckoned we would win everything with ease and saints were finished. My pre season prediction to all my mates was that we would be able to beat anyone but also be beaten off anyone and win nothing.I would love to be proven wrong though and still think only saint wigan or warrington are the only cup posdibilities this season

most on here appear to be missing the key point though

Cust - returning from injury (2 games back)
Field - returning from injury (1 game back)
Hampshire - signed whilst returning from injury (couple of games back after 12 months out)
Shorrocks - next best option due to above

surely you can see (give you used to be a coach) that if you have what would be your 1st 3 choices at stand off out, then things arent going to be cohesive in attack Shorrocks played well v Saints and Wire, but some of that was outstanding defensive efforts, and probably in places we wouldnt have seen Cust or Field, but he was limited in an attacking sense. someone else has posted they would go with Shorrocks at 6 from a defensive perspective v Wire tomorrow, which i can understand, but then equally we probably arent going to be fluid or electric in attack, so its the balance of what is best for the team

in terms of moving forward by default Cust would be our starting 6 as that is what he was signed for. The issue for Matty Peet is that he is then trying to fit both French and Field into the starting backs because of what they bring to the team in an attacking sense.

So glad someone else thinks like I do.

Support the the team win or lose. They need our support to help them through the hard times.

Can’t understand some fans who complain about every little thing to do with the club & the team. They play for 80 minutes, plus sometimes, being bashed about for our entertainment.

And I’ve been following & supporting this club for 63 years!! Through good times & bad times.
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I like you Josie have supported the team for 63 years. But what frustrates me over the last 5 years is the mediocre players we have been recruiting. There is no excuse only poor management, the likes of Burgess when it was obvious he wasn’t full fit. Overseas players like Mago, Cust, Ellis no way Maurice Lindsay would even have looked at them. The list goes on Thornley and Hampshire why bring them back both had bad injuries. French and Field great individual runners of the ball but player makers they are not. They are too similar and we are struggling to get them in the same team.

Rumours have it we are now at centre who again has injury issues, will we ever learn?

Rant over back to supporting the lads tomorrow no matter what the result.

I understand criticism, but it does seem that no matter which route is chosen the conclusion isnt good enough. For instance the spine of the team should stay the same and be settled- this would be criticised as Peet having no plan B, so when he does change it up he then gets criticised for not playing a settled team...

We as supporters should be just that and perhaps avoid the destructive tendencies which counter our purpose
