The Wigan training staff haven’t capitalised on that . Cust should have been left in position as a back up / assist Smith but they have moved him all over the middles

As for the dicking about with French well that’s another story
We signed Cust to replace Hastings. If Cust had massive potential he would still be in the NRL. If he is a stand-off then I have been watching the wrong game for decades.

To be honest the best player we have signed is Sam Walters a monster who runs great lines and is an 80 minute prop happy days . Bet Leeds fans really pissed off Wigan pinching a really great prospect ,.

Walters was listed as prop last night but play wide right in the 2nd row position.
He's a devastating runner with the ball but was caught out with Ritson's try as was the rest of the Leeds defence.
Looking at him play and I'm just left think what a great player and what a great signing.
