Separately I was surprised to see Ellis on the pitch at the end of the game. I was thinking Peet had him as an unused sub to give him a rest as I cannot remember seeing him on the TV picture?
Havard has been a shining light IMO for a few weeks. He is putting far more aggression in to his defence and is carrying the ball well.

I would agree with the OP apart from that. I do think some of the forwards are having a bit of a dip. Thompson is still playing well but not as well as he was a few weeks ago, Mago hasn’t really been getting the game time, Nsemba and Faz have had a dip as well. The last one I’d comment on is Dupree. He started the season well but I don’t think his form has been great for a while now tbh. I think all the lads are likely having a flat spot but they’ll fire up over this next few weeks, I’m sure.

I think we will play Bryne in this game for his size alongside Luke, Ethan and Ellis and Mago. Walters and probably Eckersley on the bench again.

Give him some time and I think Sam Walters will be a belter. For some reason he hasn't reached the level he was at Leeds yet, and that was under the worst coach Super League has seen for a long time. (He obviously learned very little from his uncle. Coaching isn't in the blood after all.) He will improve. Him and N'semba, on form what a back row in prospect. Liam Byrne should be a lot better than he is. Can't fault the effort, but there needs to be more to his game than blinkers on and running straight into contact. But perhaps that's his job and all he's being asked to do. Employ Lee Crookes to show him some of the other skills of front row play. He doesn't need to kick goals (joke), but he should use the ball more. Perhaps Luke Thompson could help. Kaide Ellis and even Paddy Mago have the occasional off load, although Liam probably needs to be able to hang on to the ball more consistently before he branches out into offloads. Other opinions are obviously available.

His Dad was a better coach than his uncle imo.
