Don't know if it is Sky or BBCs fault but watching the TV was deja vu time as the TV was always a full set of 6 tackles behind the commentary on Listen Live with Mills andBilko. What the heck were they doing????

Did Marshy and Jake bash heads?
I heard Marshy got 8 stitches and will get them sorted out tomorrow. Jake had a huge lump on his forehead.
There were an awful lot of HIA's and other injuries that's for sure. Physios will have their hands full tomorrow!

The table has an odd look to it so maybe finishing 2nd might work to your advantage with Saints, Catalan or Leeds in the 5th/6th position. Top team plays the lowest placed qualifer in the semi.

The league table may have an unfamiliar look but that can't be too bad really.
Today though the squad didn't seem to have any sense of urgency. This was exaggerated due to Hull playing with plenty of enthusiasm. With the score at 10-4 the game looked a long way from won at times. A win is a win and I'm sure they will realise that for the next two games especially a marked improvement in intensity and skill level is required.

Who is the Aussie Sheila doing the commentary, my god she is so monotonous, it's like I'm listening to a female version of Paul Cullen
She has got a squeaky voice. Should have hired Tanya Arnold.
Sounds like Courtney Winfield-Hill, ex Leeds and England stand -off.

A shame that one of our poorest fixtures should be on the rare occasion that Wigan are on live TV on the BBC. Hardly a showcase.

I'm actually going to go slightly against the grain. Yes we were poor overall. Yes we lacked cohesion and organisation. However, imo, there were glimpses to suggest that we will be ok come the run in.
Luke Thompson is one of the best signings we have made in a long time. Every time I see him play, he goes up in my estimation.
Nsemba continues to improve his defence, and his athleticism is there for all to see. Sometimes hard to believe that he is still 20.
The main point though is that we are missing our first choice 6, 7 and 9. In a salary capped sport (and you can debate whether this is a good thing or not), this is critical.
Take that out of any team and they will struggle.
I think we will be ok come the playoffs.
