The semi final of the grand final in 03 was it. The one against Leeds where he scored twice from long range efforts! I'm beginning to think "the tank" and "the black pearl" could be the same person.

Moderator request:-
Several hours ago I considered locking this thread because we try to keep matters related to Wigan RL on this board (we're not RLFans, after all). However, it was clearly rugby related and so, at the time, relevant to something to do with Wigan. It's now definitely gone completely off the point. Can we all try to stay on-topic please so I don't have to look for my thread-locking keys, as this is all getting very silly, as is the other thread about people challenging each other to races.

Can we get off the subject of pies and tanks and most of all the Irishman with a rather long list of injuries. I would like to forget Brain Carney never was and never will be a wigan great.

He was an absolute cracking player and i was sad to see him go, he didnt have a brilliant last season but he still had a good one and he was brilliant when he was here
I know he has one injury plagued season and becomes the anti-christ. Let that be a warning to the currently injured players!! For what its worth i thought he was a good player when he was at wigan and i reckon he will do well in the NRL.
