It makes me sick aren't they proud that wigan are home of 'premiership football and super league' if not they are twisted. they should be supporting wigan so that leeds united taking the mick out of 'little' wigan.

Problem is Chris they have no real enemies in football. Or so called enemies.

Bolton and Blackburn arent really bothered with the Latics they see themselves as each others enemies. Like Man U, Liverpool and Spurs, Arsenal.

Latics needs someone as an enemy in there minds to make their side seem important. We have our big derby against Saints and Leigh is a decent Derby in terms of the honor at stake.

Most people in the prem see the Latics as a one season wonder. Just as Everton were last season. Everyone will know now how to play them so unless DW opens the book and players want to come there then they could see themselves out of the Prem next season.

Feel Sheffield and Reading are more than capable of staying and with the 2 midlands side going down along with Sunderland i feel the prem will be a lot stronger.

Especially with the likes of Chimponda putting in a transfer request. Pity will be end of next season if we are not in SL as i can see that road signe being changed.

THE HOME OF 2 TEAMS OUTSIDE THE MAIN DIVISION.

Don't worry, they'll go back to supporting Man U or Liverpool as soon as they're back down. They don't do "loyal"

While I'm still I little miffed about the abuse I recieved from various people when latics where in the old third division a feel sympathy for you and your'e kid. Your kid is just following his home town team in a sport he identifies with. I took the same crap from people in my youth. We are the fasionable team at the moment, and to be honest its freshing, but I hope none of our long standing fans dont forget where we've come from and respect people who follow the rugby because that what they are passionate about!

ps Maurice should be birched.

Why exactly should Maurice be birched?

From a Warriors point of view I do sometimes think the same however from a Latics point of view, Latics fans hate him because DECADES ago he made a one off comment that you lot cannot get over.

May I make a suggestion : Get over it.
