Plus they've got the wrong head steward. He needs to be more vocal instead of just quietly getting on with stewarding. However I think if we get behind the stewards they can turn it around. It's no good just waiting for the stewards at other clubs to slip up, it's still in our hands.

P.S. I have heard from a good source that we have a couple of top stewards coming over from Bradford.

We would probably have to offload a couple of stewards to Widnes first due to the cap.

it doesn't influence your enjoyment of the game and so its just one of those things.

Willie, I rarely get upset as such but yes I do have a strong dislike of wannabe hooligans / miscreant low life hanging around on street corners. I am a socialist in ideology but even true socialism is based around strong individual responsibility. Alas, that seems to have gone in this country and we have an excuse culture. Anti-social behaviour should be dealt with harshly. I even believe some types of behaviour cannot be cured. Hence, I would execute pedophiles.

I have had very good and the odd bad experience with stewards. But we have to judge everyone as an individual.

IMO if you have an issue with a steward ask to see their SIA licence. The should be carrying & in veiw at all time this ID Badge.

The Licence is blue and has an ORANGE bar down the right hand side with the words "DOOR SUPERVISOR" though the orange bit.

If the person fails to carry or have this badge then they are breaking the LAW. If they carry one that has a blue bar down the side and says "SECURITY OFFICER" then he/she can NOT carry out stewarding duties, again they are breaking the LAW

The SIA is the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry according to the requirements set out by the Private Security Industry Act 2001.

"IF" the steward is doing it for free then they dont need a Licence, they are to have NO benifit for doing the job ie free tickets etc.

A person can face up to 5years Imprisonment and / or £5000 fine.

your bang on with nonses they should be dropped into a vat of acid and as for anti social behaviour they should be horse whipped

we dont assault anyone , the point i was trying to make is that thugs and wannabee hooligans go round attacking and assaulting people for no reason we dont. btw the apostrophe key ' is on the same key as the @ button ( just a reminder so you dont keep using commas )
