I would think a fully fit Calderwood is the fastest player in SL let alone Wigan. Ashton was actually introduced to the game because of his sprinting prowess. He is extremely quick too.

Brett is a cracking player who will be sorely missed when he packs in with us, always gives 110% and has had to spend a lot of his time coming infield for the ball and playing like a forward because (like with Mark Calderwood) he has never been given that oval shaped thing often enough.
His break on Friday was great and he certainly knew the only place he was heading was over the touchline so he tried to pass - if it had come off it would have been superb and I'm certain we would have got another try as a result but as it happened John Wilshire spoiled our party and got hold of the ball instead.

Can't fault him for effort but i thought he could have come inside with a step
