Well firstly we only got what Tesco would give us...a 14mill stadium., theres only so much you can do with that money.
secondly, we were only getting 5,500-6000 fans at Wilderspool.
thirdly , we dont have a professional football team to share with that could guarantee 20,000+ home gates.

There has been times where you have not got into Warrington games!
You are our closest neigbours along with saints and Widnes.
Derby matches always attract big crowds.
A few years back there were reports that around 500-1000 of you missed Alfie Langer because you didn't buy a ticket!!
It seems many of you just don't know how to learn a lesson.

When you club receives a full complement of 3000 tickets, buy them!!
Don't not bother and let your club send them back to the club missing out on 10% of the share profit and think that turning up on the day is good enough.

When they got there the club refused to honour the tickets. I know of several instances were adults had bought tickets but their children were unable to get in! I exchanged my son's voucher at the JJB without any problem when I got our tickets, about a month ago.

Sorry Geoff I didn't make that clear. The point is they sent people (juniors) to the Halliwell Jones to get their vouchers redeemed on the understanding that tickets were still available. When they got there they weren't. By then families/kids had already made the journey. Don't forget that not everyone can commit to a match a month (or even a week) in advance. I think unless tickets are reserved, then they shouldn't be asking kids to travel.

Some people went down to the JJB though to exchange their junior vouchers for a ticket, isn't it just a case of being organised and not leaving it until the last minute?

I'm sure you'll agree that for health and safety reasons you can't allow kids that turn up at the last minute to gain entry just because they have a voucher. Is it not their parents responsibility to exchange their voucher when they purchase their own ticket or to get there good and early if they are travelling alone? As far as I am concerned it's common sense, that's why I purchased tickets well in advance and a friend of mine went to buy her tickets at midday yesterday.

A lot of supporters don't actually live in the local area and due to work or other commitments cannot get to the stadium to buy tickets in advance and ordering and paying over the phone isn't always an option for people therefore announcements should be made earlier.

Its a bit of a shambles. Wigan sent back tickets. People should have got them weeks ago over the phone etc. People from Warrington were saying we all knew because it was in the Guardian. Well how would people in WIgan know that unless they live in Warrington. Maybe if they had communicated that back to Wigan they wouldnt have sent the tickets back of they could have commented on it them selves.

Very small ground and very poor for younger fans. I took 2 kids and they had to sit on mine and my dads shoulders due to there being no where to sit them and it being so cramped.

i do agree with you the stadium is far too small.they say they only have a 8000 season ticket database but what happened to this ambition of becoming a top 6 club and working in the communityto build their fan base.they havnt the room for more fans,an ambitious club wouldnt settle for such a small stadium.i agree with one thing one fan said that their stadium acts as a 14th man b cos they offer away fans only a small percentage of tickets but surely that must be the same for all clubs i mean your homes your castle no away team has it easy

P&B I was shocked at the ground. It is a poor location, parking is abysmal. It has no room whatsoever for expansion. You talk about being reliant upon the charity of Tesco. Ermm what happened to Moran and his counterparts? Why could they not have contributed?

The ground itself. The capacity is not correct. IT HOLDS LESS. Health and safety would have had a field day. No Programmes for sale, awful food / drink vendors, the walkways made even he JJB ones look attractive, the pitch was poor, the advertising boards were even poor.

What future does that ground have? No prospect of holding big games, lower division finals are the best it can hope for. If Warrington did well and actually got support they would outgrow it.

For those who did not get tickets. YES, they could have done X, Y, Z BUT Warrington SHOULD HAVE MADE THE GAME ALL TICKET. 500+ locked out is a very dangerous scenario. It could have turned UGLY.

Also....I did realise why there wasnt a clock on the scoreboard. We kicked off at 3pm on my watch. The ref stopped the clock apporx 5 times due to Briers mucking about. The hooter went before 3.40.....think Cullen was timekeeper!

and as all this was going on, I was sat in a wooded carpark in Sherwood Forest trying to catch the game on radio - but all I got was a York v Hunslet (i think) and a Hull KR match, pathetic!

Although radio Leeds had the Giants game on... I gave up at 3.15pm ad decided to watch Golf instead.

Was a good job we (Danielle2006) didnt go home a day early from holiday to watch the match, wouldnt have got in otherwise!

If you read the League Express this morning it says approx. 200 locked out Probably don't want people to know how bad it really was.
