As far as I know we are set at half back next yr with Leuluai and Barrett. :doz:
was just reading through the posts and noticed again that someone mentioned wigan had signed Leuluai for next year. Has this singing been confirmed because i hav'nt heard anything of this in the papers or on tv etc, only on here has anything been mentioned about the singing. So just wondering incase i have missed something.
Nope, this is no more confirmed than the many other rumours floating around. For next year we have signed Barrett and Bailey, and I think that's all, although from memory we're not allowed to sign any SL-contracted players until 1st September, unless they have already been notified they are going to be released by their club.

As far as I know it wasn't that we just didn't want him, there were some accusations that he MAY have been involved in an incident in Wigan on a night out. Nevertheless he is still wigan born and bred and grew up in a council flat in New Springs and went to Deanery High School. As a person I cant stand him, but he is still a class act. I never liked Faz or Shaun Edwards off the pitch but when they wore the cherry and white I supported them like I did all the players in our squad.

This is spooky!

Have you been reading my mind?
Why? which bit were you thinking of? I am guessing the bits about Faz and Edwards being a#@holes off the pitch.

ok thankyou, thats cleared that one up for me! And personally i hope we dont sign leuluai, we are getting Barret, and Danny Orr in my eyes is playing brilliant, so why bother buyin someone that we dont need. And as for sean Long,it would not work, seeing him in wigan colours.

He wouldn't come if we begged him after the shoddy treatment that was meated out to him by our club. He has punished us relentlessly for this by picking up more trophies than our lot can shake a stick at!

From what i remember at the time and speaking to people involved at the club, he had a massive knee injury and had to have a full reconstruction! It was thought that he would never recover from it to the same standard so Wigan let him go. Anyone else remember this?

easy to say, yes he is playing well but we don't know if he can play just as well at scrum half. ive noticed in a few people's 'next seasons team', they have barret at scrum half and orr at stand off :eh: . why?? :conf:

trent barret is a number 6, he is a stand off, not a scrum half so why move one of the best in his position to a different position, were we will have no idea how he plays there. thats like moving fielden to the second row, he may do a good job there, but he shouldnt be moved because he is th ebest in his position in the world! barret is a proven stand off. we don't know if danny orr can play scrum half do we really? :conf: . where as thomas lueluia is a deffinate scrum half and i think he has represented the kiwis hasnt he?

all im trying to say is moving people out of position is something we shouldnt have to do and when we do it, we have no idea if it will work do we?
