and then the week after t'cup final they beat a hung over Stains and after a narrow defeat to Bradford we remain in the relegation spot.
Let's not get in front of ourselves until we are mathematically safe and can start planning our trip to Barcelona for Superleague 12 and for an additional wish can we have les frogs away twice please.![]()
The LAST thing we need to do is get complacent. We have to treat this game like a cup final. Realistically we have a good chance of winning 2 out of our last 4 - and this is one of them; so we need to make sure. If we aren't at the races then Brown, Aspinwall and Wild will take great pleasure in putting us back in the relegation spot.
Leeds still don't have Maguire and Stains could well suffer the CC hang over (I'd be interested to know how many teams have lost their next match after lifting the trophy).
I am sure that the giants are fully aware that they will be only two points above the drop if we beat them and Wakey do lose to Leeds. If Wakey pull it off then it could be the giants in box seat with a view of NL1 going into the CC final- and I am sure that they don't want that.
We've had a terrible season - and it could still yet be a nightmare, let's not take anything for granted until we are SURE we will be in Super League next year
