OK! I was going to ask one about Boston, but that might be a bit unfair on the younger members, so:

Who was the opposition when Martin Offiah scored his last try at Central Park, and how many did he score in the match?
His last appearance at Central Park was against the Broncos in the 18-18 draw that gave stains the title - but I don't think that he scored in that one.

So it would probably be a hat-trick against (the hated) Sheffield Eagles?
Correct, Matthew!

Your turn!

Hurrah! :)

Right - here goes...

Who was the last head coach to PLAY for a Wigan side whilst being in charge? And who was it against?

I'll go for Graeme West in the cross code challenge against Bath at Twickers

Right then, a Wembley double header.

1. Who was the first overseas player to win the Lance Todd trophy and in what year?

2. Who captained Wigan for a record 6 times at Wembley? :eusa16:

Cec Mountford - I saw him play, although
not at that (1951) Wembley final - dad reckoned I was too young to go!

Eric Ashton - again I was lucky enough to see him play, and I still think that centre/wing partnership with Boston was the best I've ever seen!

Correct on both counts' unless of course you use the BBC records! They have the first overseas player to win as Brett Kenny!
your turn :)

OK - a real history one for you:

Date, opposition and score of the first ever game at Central Park?

I will guess at it being the 06th December 1902 against Batley and we won 14-8. Oh the joys of Google. Sorry if I cheated.
