I agree, and I would suspect there would be some clubs both here and in the NRL who may beat it financially. The best offer on paper may not be the best offer if it means Sam has to pay money back to somebody else. So then he wouldn't take that offer, if as you say he is looking to maximise his financial return. Response to your bottom bit. Matty Bowen had an exceptional career at the NQC but for us he has been okish. nowhere near what Sam was for us and will be next season.
But i do not care which one was the better in the NRL.
Only which one has been the better in a Wigan shirt.
