Silverwood gave the contact details of every official to a Trade Union. Technically he breached confidentiality rules etc but in reality all he was doing was trying to get all the officials represented and protected by a Trade Union organisation. One surmises a fellow official complained to the RFL and they then suspended Silverwood who will now probably lose his job.

One must be careful what one surmises though... one might surmise incorrectly.

I agree though, I'm not bothered in the slightest about getting a letter from them. I'm already in Prospect anyway with being an engineer so it's free to me.

I would love to see Ben Davies given a bit of game time.

I know nothing about this player as I don't get to watch the junior sides given where I live.

Rob it is but it never is on a short term basis and not on a long term basis for some players. Ainscough fits the category of a player who plays better and better the higher the standard of RL he is selected in. He is also a winger and it is not the same as a young forward moving from reserve to SL for example.

People need to stop finding reason not to play players. It is far too negative.

Just thinking that Noble has duty of care to look after players. Agreed, harder for forwards than backs but intensity of tackles at SL level is massively greater than academy. I think he'll be cautious with how much game time he gets so soon after making his debut. But... what do I know, I'm not a coach.

That argument doesn't work, Rob, not for the age of Tomkins & Ainscough, both of whom turn 20 this year. Look at the lads from other clubs that were brought in at 17 yrs old: for example Roby, Graham, Burgess, Smith, Penny have all done OK; and look at the 17 year olds that Saints & Leeds have already selected this season.

We don't even have a single 17 year old in the 1st team squad (I think. Not sure about Ian Thornley's age, it's not on the site), let alone the starting 17.

indeed he is but does anybody think he will see first team action? He could quite easily play the odd game particularly off the bench where his ability to play wing/centre would be useful IMO.

I thought his boots' studs were too shirt. They are Nike Mercurial Vapour SL FG boots (RRP £179.99) Orange/Black - not the best for grip. That why he changed them or he change his boots due to this injury?
