And reading some of your comments well well, pot calling kettle would be very very easy to say but no I will not join in your name calling.. Anyone is allowed to make their point on here and when someone comes out with comments about being a snake fan well it is total rubbish and so the comment is valid and does not need you to stick your comment in.Sutty wrote:Maybe you could take heed of your own statement.Wigan Watcher wrote:Either talk sense or don’t talk at all!jimofwigan wrote:Wigan watcher are you a Saint Helens supporter in disguise?
You sound like one.
I'm a Wigan supporter. I support my team through thick and thin. I'm not a defeatist "sack the coach" idiot every time things don't go smooth.
Wigan 2006 Saved from relagation by BRIAN NOBLE ---- after Rugby league deducted points
Wigan 2007 6th after further point deductions Got beat at Hull
Wigan 2008 4th 80 minutes away from a grand final Beat by Leeds
Brian said he would improve the team year on year up till now he has been true to his word. The trouble with you Saints fans is that you think Wigan supports are not Loyal
Well we are SO TAKE YOUR STAY AWAY TACTICS BACK TO THE KNOWLSLEY SHED. Sorry you are doing that already
Fool of a statement.
All this talk of boycotting the match, do you honestly think that it will make any difference at all? There are about 8500 season ticket holders and about 2500 regular paying customers. How many do you think come on here? Maybe 200-300 at the most. That would mean that you have to spread the word to at least 10500 more fans in order for this to happen. If you think about it realistically it will never, ever happen.
I am annoyed and dismayed as anyone on this site, but I support (and will continue to do so) the team and the club regardless of results. The club is bigger than the coach and sooner or later things will change. Maybe/hopefully for the better, or even for the worse. But at the end of the day, even if Pol Pot was in charge at Wigan, I would still be a fan.
If you went on other fans forums or on the BBC forum you would see that we are already becoming the laughing stock amongst fans because of our booing and suggestions of boycot!

Firstly can we get one thing straight. I did not do any name calling, and if you can show me an example in this thread, I will happily apologise!Wigan Watcher wrote:And reading some of your comments well well, pot calling kettle would be very very easy to say but no I will not join in your name calling.. We are the laughing stock because we continue to support a joke of a team.
see sense and make sense!

I don't feel I am supporting a joke of a team and if you feel differently then that is your perogotive. I am as loyal a fan as anyone on here and I will continue to support them through thick and thin. I take it by your demeaner that you are a more "mature" fan? I also assume that you were a supporter of this club when we were relegated in the mid 80's? How did you react at that time? Obviously the internet wasn't as widely used as it is today so you couldn't have vented your frustration as openly and to as wide an audience.
Lastly, I would like you to explain a couple of your comments to me because they don't seem to add up.
Firstly you allude to some of the comments that I have made could be interpreted as pot calling kettle. I'm not sure what you mean here. I try and maintain my views and opinions, therefore rarely deviating from one opinion to another. One case that this has not been true though is my opinions on our coach. I have tried to stick by my thoughts that he is the man for the job. However, I am now of the opinion that he has taken us as far as he can and that maybe a new face could get a better reaction out of the team.
You also mention that anyone is allowed to comment, and that is just what I have done. I haven't called anyone names and I have tried to post in a mature and literate manner, despite how I may have been feeling at the time. I could post things that would make no sense at all because they would just be a rant, but I try my very best to curb my "enthusiasm".
I think your attitude of "see sense and make sense" is one of an incredibly disgruntled fan who is trying his very best, no matter what it takes to have total clear out of our club at all management / coaching levels. Or at least that is the impression that you give judging by your comments of "joke of a club" etc. etc.
I have never and never will let actions either on the pitch or in the dressing room and board room affect my loyal and passionate support of our club.
